Welcome from Pastor Mark

Here at The Reservoir United Methodist Church, we believe in the power of God’s transforming love, eternal salvation through a personal acceptance of, and relationship with, Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen us.
As United Methodists, we stress being in mission to God’s people wherever there is need.

Some of the mission activities our members participate in include an annual blood drive, Operation Christmas Child, Fair Trade Coffee, No More Malaria, supporting the Reservoir and Olivebridge Food Pantries, collecting turkeys and hosting a Christmas party for a domestic violence shelter, and supporting a United Methodist missionary in Cambodia.

Spiritual growth and development is important to us. We have short-term Bible studies, and Sunday school for toddlers through 12th grade. Nursery care is available on Sunday mornings during Sunday school and worship.  Music is also an important part of our worship experience; we have choirs for adults and a handbell choir.   Other ministries in our church include a United Methodist Women’s group, a Prayer Ministry, Family Fellowship Nights, and a Prayer Shawl Ministry.

Annually we host a Chicken BBQ in September, a pumpkin patch in October, a free Fall Harvest Festival, and an annual yard sale in May.

We are a fun-loving, spirit-filled congregation that enjoys many diverse gatherings throughout the year.

We invite you to come and join our worship on Sunday mornings at 11:00 am. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month and all are welcome.

Our hearts, our minds, and our doors are open waiting to welcome you.

May the grace of God be with you as you walk the faith journey.

Peace in Christ,
Pastor Mark
